Job Summary
Locate, retrieve, and move large quantities of product from pallets, crates, or storage areas to pack stations, shipping docks, or production workers using RF devices and power industrial vehicles. Operate Order Pickers, turret trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to transport non-conveyable items or expedite parts, adhering strictly to safety standards and equipment policies. Maintain organizational KPIs by multi-tasking, quickly solving problems, and keeping parts flow moving throughout the building while meeting departmental goals. This Tuesday through Friday 6:00pm to 4:30am role requires forklift certification and the ability to walk, stand, and lift varying weights on concrete floors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic computer navigation and typing skills
- Must be able to lift 5-10 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs and rarely up to 77+lbs (with lift assistance)
- Ability to push boxes, occasionally up to 50 lbs, from the heavy box lift to conveyor
- Ability to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs
- Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
- Must be able to operate and adhere to ALL Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) policy and equipment rules with limited supervision
- Regular and exemplary use of OrderPicker, Turret Truck, 8900 (motorized Pallet cart) and Forklifts is required for this step
- Must acquire and maintain forklift certification (certification provided by Digi-Key)
- Must be available for Tuesday - Friday 6:00pm to 4:3am shifts
- Must be able to go up 30ft to pick orders
- Must be capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete
- Must be a dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
