Job Summary
Inspect and repair pallets for defects including broken boards, missing components, nail defects, and debris, then correct issues to meet specification criteria. Lift and carry materials, sort and stack pallets by size and grade using APC methods, and ensure proper storage to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Observe all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations, while maintaining clean work areas and assisting in waste disposal and recycling activities. Complete and turn in all required documentation in a timely manner. Perform all other duties as assigned by management during an 8-10-hour shift from 5 AM to 2:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret imperial system
- Successful completion of pneumatic nailer training
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug test
- You must be 18 years of age
- Physically able to lift 50lbs as needed
- Physically ability to stand, bend/stoop, kneel, lift, reach and other physical tasks during an 8-10-hour shift
- Must maintain safe and tidy workspace
- Ability to understand and complete job tasks accurately
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience is preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
