Job Summary
The Attendant/Caregiver assists clients with activities of daily living, ensuring safety and compliance with health policies and regulations. This role involves monitoring client environments, reporting changes to supervisors, and using physical strength to assist with tasks. Candidates should demonstrate a helpful demeanor, ability to follow instructions, and possess patience and confidentiality. Work involves various physical activities and requires the ability to recognize client condition changes.
Required Qualifications
- Pleasant and cheerful demeanor
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds of force continuously
- Experience in personal assistance services as defined
- Recognizing differences in sounds
- Ability to exercise patience, tact, initiative, judgment, and confidentiality
