Job Summary
Palantir Foundry Ontology Engineer overseeing data pipelines and ontology design on defense/customer engagements. Responsibilities include building production-grade pipelines using Foundry tools, designing ontologies, translating mission problems into technical architectures, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, troubleshooting pipelines, and ensuring best practices in version control, testing, and documentation. Requires experience with Palantir Foundry, data ingestion/transformation, ontology design, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a technology field
- 3+ years of experience in software, data, or platform engineering
- 1+ years of experience in Palantir Foundry
- Experience with Data Connections, Code Repos, or Pipeline Builders
- Knowledge of Ontology design and management
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree requirement
- Master’s degree is a plus
