Job Summary
As a Paint Maker on the Night shift, you will set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials (solvents, resins, pigments, latex, and other additives) to produce paints with safe, reliable quality. You will observe gauges and equipment to detect defects, determine paint flow and coating quality, weigh/measure chemicals, select and prepare coatings, regulate machine operation (flow, temperature, air pressure, and spray), start/stop equipment, and record operational data. Additional duties include starting pumps, operating auxiliary coating machines, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Shift is 6pm–6:15am on a 2-2-3 rotation, with benefits after onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/chemical processing environment
- Prior paint manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work well with other peer groups
- Knowledge of industrial safety regulations
