Job Summary
Painter/Utility Worker responsible for on-time painting of compressors, generators, and associated parts; prepping, masking, and cleaning components; maintaining paint logs; operating paint booth and equipment with safety compliance; supporting production scheduling and cross-training; forklift operation for moving components; and following company policies. Requires painter qualification courses, technical school or equivalent experience, valid driver's license, ability to read drawings/schematics/manuals, basic math, computer aptitude, understanding of air/gas compressors and related tooling, and effective communication. Citizenship or US person status and potential to obtain DOD clearance are noted.
Required Qualifications
- Pass and maintain painter qualification courses
- Technical school or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Valid Driver's license with no restrictions for insurance purposes
- Ability to read and understand structural drawing, schematics and operating manuals
- Ability to perform calculations such as percentages, ratios and fractions
- Ability to learn basic computer skills and ability to adapt to a variety of software applications
- Ability to understand the use and application of air and gas compressors and generators and basic manufacturing tooling and equipment
- Ability to communicate with others to exchange information both orally and in writing
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15
- May require the ability to obtain DOD security clearance
