Painter

Conduct assigned duties in masonry, carpentry, electrical, and painting while performing efficiency tests and general ground and building maintenance. Assemble scaffolding as required and set up ventilators and safety equipment to protect against unhealthy fumes. Cover trim, floors, and furniture with masking tape and drop cloths to keep surfaces free of paint. Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes with putty, and sanding until smooth. Apply primer and sealers, then mix and match paint, stain, and finishes to job specifications using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Requires high school diploma or GED, field experience, and a valid NYS Driver's License. Full benefits package includes health insurance, retirement match, and generous PTO.
