Job Summary
Travel to Tague facilities and communicate with managers to determine painting requirements for interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures. Maintain a color palette, cover surfaces with protective materials, and prepare walls through sanding, taping, and repairs. Precisely apply paint and stain using appropriate tools while building scaffolding and performing basic carpentry. Mix finishes to job specifications and maintain an inventory of supplies like brushes and tarps. Comply with chemical storage regulations and work inside and outside buildings with frequent heavy lifting. Requires a valid driver's license, Medical Card, and scissor lift certification.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential painting experience both interior and exterior
- Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Tague's minimal MVR standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Card for driving commercial vehicles
- Obtain certification to work on a scissor lift
- Ability to paint with precision
- Ability to perform basic carpentry work
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience with moving jobs forward with little directions from other
- Ability to select the right material for the job
- Experience painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces
- Ability to observe all safety measures
- Must be reliable
- Requires work inside and outside of buildings
- Frequent heavy lifting required
