Job Summary
As a Painter you will load/unload paint line products, support powder coat operators, and conduct quality inspections of painted parts. You will check weld porosity and defects, ensure correct painting sequence, monitor wash system titration levels, and train on other equipment within the production area. This is a full-time, 2nd-shift role based in Columbus, OH (2:30pm–1:00am with overtime and a $1 shift differential). Requires High School Diploma or GED (preferred), 1 year of related manufacturing experience (or equivalent), safety-conscious practices, basic math and English literacy, and forklift certification (will be provided at hire). Responsibilities also include adhering to safety procedures, completing required paperwork, and understanding production drawings; travel is not required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-year related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent
- Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck certification (will certify at hire)
- Safety-oriented with ability to follow procedures and paperwork
- Ability to read and understand production drawings and pass the exam
- English language proficiency for instructions and communication
