Job Summary
Painter role responsible for painting steel or wood components per project specifications using traditional spray techniques, including sealing or priming and applying topcoat with high quality. Must maintain records (mil readings, paint consumption, ambient environment), perform preventative maintenance on spray guns, follow supervisor directions, coordinate projects with time requirements, adhere to safety standards, maintain attendance and work independently within timelines, communicate with departments, support quality control, and leverage knowledge of HVLP/conventional sprayers, Pot-Guns, 2K mix systems, epoxy and siloxane products. 3-5 years of paint spraying experience required; lifting up to 50+ lbs; flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years paint spraying experience
- Knowledge of industrial and automobile paint coatings
- Use of HVLP and/or conventional paint sprayers
- Use of Pot-Guns
- ERP System
- Working knowledge of computers
- Use of 2K Mix System
- Knowledge of two-component Siloxane products and Epoxy
- Be able to lift more than 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule as this position could be required to work additional hours
- Be able to clean and maintain equipment at the end of each shift
