Job Summary
Perform all painting assignments assuring safety, quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Protect surfaces during preparation and painting to avoid damage from overspray or drips. Apply latex, oil base, solvent base, mastic, and epoxy coatings while taping, texturing, patching, and repairing drywall. Operate sand blasting equipment and mix paint blends using and maintaining all necessary tools. Work 40 hours per week across five days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with on-call shifts as assigned by the Director of Engineering. Minimum six months experience and a valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to climb and work from a ladder up to 40 feet from ground level
- Ability to enter and work in crawl spaces and attics
- Must be able to withstand working in extreme temperatures
- Working knowledge of safe operation and proper maintenance of hand and power tools
- Minimum 6 months experience preferred
