Painter

Perform painting, varnishing, and surface repairs on wood, metal, glass, stucco, and masonry throughout the community, complying with building codes and life safety standards. Prepare surfaces by scraping and using commercial removers, then apply paint to walls, doors, rooms, buildings, parking lots, and signage using spray equipment, rollers, or brushes. Demonstrate caution when working in occupied resident units. Retrieve work orders via the automated system, complete tasks within established time frames, and collaborate with maintenance technicians and contractors. Erect scaffolding and ladders, make repairs to damaged surfaces, and manage paint inventory while tracking colors and staying within budget. Order supplies, maintain orderly storage, and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Full-time Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no weekends or holidays.
