Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and use personal protective equipment while performing painting and finishing tasks on heavy mechanical products per specifications. Prepare surfaces using brushes, scrapers, and air grinders; apply primer, masking supplies, and putty as needed. Mix and prepare paint materials, scan parts into operating systems, and load/unload components onto rail systems. Perform sandblasting duties, touch up large weldments prior to delivery, and conduct basic department maintenance on paint booths. Notify supervisors immediately of accidents, comply with hazardous waste programs, and work without close supervision. Lift up to 50 lbs, stand on concrete for extended periods, and work the 1st shift Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a self-starter, team player and have the ability to multitask.
- Able and willing to work in other areas as needed.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and independently.
- Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
- Able to work overtime as required.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred manufacturing paint experience
- High School or GED preferred
