Painter

Painter at Mandarin Oriental Macau responsible for contributing to the hotel’s fire and emergency readiness and maintaining building systems. Duties include assisting with the hotel's preventive maintenance program (including life safety equipment), participating in required and department-specific trainings, supporting the engineering cross-training initiative to upskill staff, attending daily operational meetings, ensuring timely responses to guest or management work requests, completing logbooks and records before shifts end, maintaining security and health/safety procedures, and supporting efforts to reduce utility costs while preserving service quality. The role requires safe, efficient execution of decorating and maintenance tasks, collaboration with the engineering team, and adherence to management directions and hotel policies.
