Job Summary
Painter, Junior – paints, stains, enamels, varnishes and redecorates interior and exterior surfaces; mixes paint and matches colors; applies coatings with cloth, brushes, sprayer, roller or sponges; removes old finish; may fill nail holes and cracks in walls with plaster or filler; may replace door or window glass; requisitions new painting supplies; participates in special projects. Requires High School Diploma/GED and 1+ years related painting experience; NAVSEA Lagging/Insulation experience preferred.
