Job Summary
Complete interior and exterior painting projects across residential properties, preparing surfaces by sanding, scraping, and patching before applying paints, primers, and protective coatings. Collaborate with Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians to prioritize work, manage painting materials and inventory efficiency, and perform general aesthetic maintenance to enhance property appearance. Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces while ensuring proper cleanup and disposal of materials. Available for on-call duties, evenings, and weekends with hours that may change based on operational needs. Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License and ability to safely work at heights are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience
- Commercial painting experience
- Experience with exterior building painting, balcony painting, line painting, and low-rise residential properties
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and related equipment safely
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Valid Ontario Class G Drivers License
- Available for on-call duties, evenings and weekends
- Hours may change based on operational needs
- Ability to safely work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices and the ability to maintain safe work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ontario Residential Tenancies legislation and landlord/tenant responsibilities
