Job Summary
Conduct daily safety checks on cranes, tools, and coatings throughout the shift, documenting all findings. Apply coatings to assembled products, mix and thin materials per specifications, and verify adequate coverage on finished goods. Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts while maintaining proper respiratory equipment usage and completing necessary training. Manage inventory, handle hazardous waste, and complete applicable paperwork including paint verification forms and bill of lading entries. Read blueprints and finishing specifications to ensure quality control. Work with supervisors and EHS managers to enforce safety and environmental regulations, utilizing knowledge of SDS sheets. Requires high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures
- Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job
- Some knowledge with painting and shipping of products
- Basic understanding of computers
- Reading, writing and simple math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment
