Painter I

Perform preventive maintenance on paint equipment, identify and repair paint defects, and verify cleaning chemical concentrations. Pre-treat and prep cabs and parts, then spray base coat and clear coat while mixing tints to match paint codes. Maintain accurate documentation of paint codes and coordinate material movement within the paint area. Load and unload parts on racking or carts per process documentation, read detailed operator instructions and blueprints, and self-check work to ensure quality. Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools to meet production goals while supporting 5S and communicating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
