Painter I

Painter I responsible for applying primers, single-stage topcoats, and base/clear coat systems in a fast-paced production paint setting. Sprays solid and high metallic colors, performs surface preparation, reads paint drawings for stenciling and pre-masks, uses fine line tape for paint striping, adheres to quality paint standards and safety policies, and maintains a clean work area following lean 5S initiatives. Mentors and trains Painter II, participates in ongoing development, and supports regular attendance and workstation readiness. Must lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, work on ladders, and wear a respirator as required; onsite role with full-time hours at Anniston, AL.
