Job Summary
Painter Helper responsible for preparing wood and metal surfaces for painting and applying paint to equipment, parts, machinery, buildings, and other areas using spray gun, brush, and rollers. Duties include reading work orders, surface preparation (removing dirt, oil, grease, old paint; smoothing cracks; filling holes), working at heights, erecting scaffolding or ladders, painting surfaces, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ability to follow instructions, operate at heights, and perform basic surface prep and painting tasks in an industrial setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education – no minimum education requirements.
- Experience – 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
