Job Summary
Cleans surfaces using sanders, scrapers, and brushes; removes paint; mixes, thins, and matches paints; applies coatings via brushes, rollers, or spray guns; performs wall covering, sheetrock finishing, spackling, and general wall repairs. Mixes, thins, and matches paints. Uses application methods such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns. Perform duties such as wall covering, sheetrock finishing, spackling and general wall repairs. First shift. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, painting experience, and knowledge of occupational hazards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Must have previous experience
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have painting experience
- Knowledge of and ability to follow occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Residents, Staff and Guests
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, which includes performing repetitive movements, standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing stairs and ladders
- Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather
- There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday
- Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test
