Job Summary
Mix paint to color specification and apply finish to vehicles while masking details to prevent contamination. Use industrial sprayers and equipment to perform cosmetic repairs, then check jobs for runs or sags to ensure quality. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean record to drive manual and automatic transmissions across the dealership. Work 8-12 hour days with frequent weather exposure, lifting up to 75 lbs and using ladders over 12 feet. Prioritize reliability, multitasking, and teamwork within a growing dealer group.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to use ladder 12 + feet and/or scaffolding
- Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8-12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree in Auto Body/Collision Repair
- Previous experience in the heavy duty truck collision industry
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
- Ability and background in using industrial painting equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable and able to multi-task
- An eye for detail
- Great teamwork
- Knowledge of painting large vehicles - specifically diesel trucks
