Job Summary
Analyze order copies and daily schedules to prepare, finish, and reassemble products per customer specifications. Perform visual quality inspections for missing parts or damage, then repair items before applying stain, paint, and topcoat. Train finishers, maintain accurate inventory, and document routine paint booth maintenance. Work with logistics specialists to meet deadlines while driving productivity through cost reduction. Clean work areas, generate safety and efficiency ideas, and actively participate in continuous improvement processes. Maintain accurate inventory of stain and paint. Comply with all safety procedures and attend monthly safety meetings. This role requires minimum 12 months finishing experience, ability to lift over 100 pounds, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months finishing experience
- Ability to lift and carry more than 100 pounds
- Ability to learn mechanical skills and use hand and powered tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Ability to communicate with and work well with others
- Must be able to pass medical exam to wear a respirator
- Safety conscious
- Must be able to lift 8' door panels without assistance
- Must be able to lift 36" wide sashes without assistance
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds from floor level several times a day without assistance
- Must be able to lift 400 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to lift heavy oversized glass
- Must be regularly required to sit, stand, and lift
