Job Summary
Paint surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers to simulate wood grain, marble, brick, or stonework. Sand surfaces between coats, polish final coats, and treat surfaces with oil, turpentine, or mildew remover. Mix and match colors, fill cracks with caulk putty, and remove fixtures prior to painting. Erect scaffolding, set up ladders, and cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape. Read work orders, receive instructions from supervisors or customers, and inquire about labor methods or material usage. Maintain equipment, clean work sites, and comply with safe job-site conditions. Travel to out-of-town job sites as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years as a Painter
- Applicants are required to have in their possession and maintain their own tools relevant to the job
- must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

- Relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirements
