Job Summary
Mix paint to color specification, mask details to prevent contamination, and operate sprayers for cosmetic repairs on diesel trucks. Perform quality checks on paint jobs to identify runs or sags, ensuring a finished product. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record while driving manual and automatic transmissions. Work 8-12 hour days in a dealership environment with frequent weather exposure, lifting up to 75 lbs and using ladders over 12 feet. Requires high school diploma with technical degree in Auto Body/Collision Repair preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to use ladder 12 + feet and/or scaffolding
- Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8-12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree in Auto Body/Collision Repair
- Previous experience in the heavy duty truck collision industry
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
- Ability and background in using industrial painting equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable and able to multi-task
- An eye for detail
- Great teamwork
- Knowledge of painting large vehicles - specifically diesel trucks
