Job Summary
Paint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and mixing colors as needed. Perform repairs to walls, doors, toilet partitions, and other surfaces. Pick up materials from suppliers on house accounts. Use ladders or lifts as required. Assist with building maintenance and ensure vacant suites are ready per company standards. Maintain safety standards and inventory for cost-effective operations; complete grounds work such as picking up trash, pressure washing, sweeping curbs. Follow job duties including making keys, changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, unclogging toilets, and other tasks as assigned by Property Manager/Lead Maintenance Tech.
Required Qualifications
- Three years related experience
- Skilled ability in the hanging, floating, taping and finishing of drywall
- Experience in proper methods of prep and painting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Successfully pass pre-employment screening
