Job Summary
Entry-level Painter Technician responsible for preparing metal and other surfaces on aviation equipment and applying lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane and epoxy using spray guns and painting equipment. Follows prescribed written work instructions and methods in accomplishment of assignments. Eventually will be trained to build and perform tests on systems and components to determine operability, quality, performance, and suitability. Duties include proper surface preparation, application of painting material to a variety of surfaces, maintaining quality and work relationships within the department, and adhering to supervisor-directed tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Technical or Military School Training
- 1 Year general experience
