Job Summary
Prepare internal surfaces, apply emulsion, gloss, and specialist finishes, and wallpaper residential properties across void refurbishments and reactive maintenance. Carry out external painting at height using ladders for fascia boards and soffits, treat damp and mould, and conduct snagging work following other trades. Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety regulations while maintaining tools, equipment, and the company vehicle. Communicate professionally with tenants and colleagues, complete job records accurately, and work independently to meet deadlines. Requires a full UK driving license held over three months, ability to work at height, and experience in damp treatments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, including wallpapering
- Experience in Damp & Mould treatments
- Ability to work at height and use ladders safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices
- Own hand tools required
- Full UK driving license
- Entitlement to work within the UK
- Aged over 21
- Held your licence over 3 months
- Less than 9 points on licence
