Clean and maintain brushes and tools after every painting job, effectively mix and match various paint types, and inspect walls to determine the number of coats required. Apply primers, sealers, and finishes to equipment buildings and structures using brushes, spray guns, or rollers, while filling nail holes and cracks with plaster. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape, remove fixtures prior to painting, and calculate material amounts and estimate costs based on surface measurements. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and requisition new supplies and equipment.
