Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Able to apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, etc. to property walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• •Able to effectively use brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• •Responsible for maintaining property color scheme specifications.
• •Responsible for maintaining and matching shades of particular areas.
• •Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
• •Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• •Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
• •Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
• •Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
• •Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting
• •Proficiency in various painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparation
• •Extensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and their appropriate uses
• •Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent results
• •Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• •Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials
• •Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• •Proficiency in English

Desired Qualifications

• •knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
• •Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
