PAINTER A - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Paints all assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts in accordance to customer specifications, including frames, cabs, hoods, and boom sides with consistent high quality. Inspects parts and machines for prep conformance before painting, operates and maintains spray equipment, and prepares documentation. Safely drives customer trucks on the Putzmeister property, completes layout for stripes and graphics, and touches up needed areas. Ensures work areas remain orderly, clean, and safe daily while informing supervisors of material or quality issues. Requires high school diploma, three years painting experience, and ability to work inside and outside in various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A working knowledge of spray guns and related equipment
- Able to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT)
- Fluent in the metric system
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in the equipment painting field
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Waste management training
- Power washing experience
