Job Summary
Structural Painter (2nd Shift) responsible for painting metal bases, steel frames, and steel channels for enclosure buildings. Duties include applying coatings with brushes and rollers, surface preparation (filling cracks/holes, caulking), applying primers or seals, masking and protecting surfaces, reading work orders and blueprints to determine requirements, calculating material quantities and estimated costs, maintaining a clean work area, and performing related duties. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years painting experience, strong knowledge of painting materials and techniques, attention to detail, and good communication skills.Physical requirements include standing, climbing ladders/scaffolding, lifting up to 35 pounds, color distinction, and use of PPE. Located in Fontana, CA. 2nd shift, full-time role with benefits and mandatory PPE provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of related painting experience
- Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix, and apply them
- Solid knowledge of painting techniques and the use of appropriate tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work
