Job Summary
Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required. Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns, brushes, and other tools while ensuring proper mixing to achieve desired finish and durability. Inspect painted surfaces for quality, making necessary touch-ups or corrections, and follow safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain accurate records of paint usage and inventory. This role requires 1st shift availability and U.S. export control eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a painter
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws
- U.S. Person status
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational training in painting or related field
- Experience in the aerospace industry
