Painter 1 National role focused on applying and detailing paint on aircraft parts. Responsibilities include mixing and measuring paint per specifications, painting parts in a booth, ensuring correct thickness and coverage, performing post-paint inspection for appearance, keeping booth filters clean, maintaining paint equipment and PPE, completing the daily paint checklist, and documenting results. Must observe safety regulations and adapt to different surfaces and metals, while meeting quality and paperwork requirements and handling non-routine/complex situations as needed. Strong emphasis on accuracy, accountability, communication, and reliability in a shop environment.
