Job Summary
PaintCare Data Support Specialist — join our team to maintain and update master data records for customer accounts, support manufacturer registration, and develop compliance reports. You’ll work across Salesforce, Excel, and multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and timely updates, resolve inconsistencies, and support data governance and privacy policies. The role requires independent work after training, attention to detail, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage data updates across platforms (Salesforce, Excel, Box, etc.). A DC-based office with remote management is expected, with occasional travel for meetings or events. Key duties include data actions following program standards, account maintenance, data import/export between systems, and producing reliable, actionable data for reporting and remittance. Strong Salesforce and Excel proficiency, data-entry speed with accuracy, and the ability to learn new procedures quickly are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in data entry, data maintenance, or customer account setup with speed and accuracy
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (updating records, running reports, managing lists, troubleshooting user issues)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel) and document management tools (Box.com or similar)
- Knowledge of FileMaker a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying errors and resolving record discrepancies
- Ability to complete training and work independently in a DC-based office with remote managers and colleagues
- Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, conferences, and events
