Job Summary
Set up and operate powder coat equipment to paint products according to engineering specifications. Apply base paint using spray guns, regulate conveyor speeds, and adjust machine temperature and air pressure. Troubleshoot equipment problems, perform preventative maintenance, and inspect coated items for coverage and thickness. Conduct color changeovers, clean booths to prevent cross-contamination, and record operational data. Assist operators, train others, and maintain a safe work environment while working weekends as production demand dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to wear a respirator which is a required PPE
- Lift up to 40 lbs
- Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year of related experience strongly preferred
