Job Summary
Perform all refinish work according to specs, including mixing paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors using power mixing equipment. Match colors following specified charts and verify consistency. Monitor painting operations to identify flaws like blisters or streaks and correct their causes. Communicate vehicles through the paint process stage. Apply designs, lettering, or decorative items using paint brushes or sprayers, and lay out logos on painted surfaces per blueprint specifications. Follow OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application, and curing. Requires I-CAR certifications, prior refinish experience, and the ability to receive direction. Posted minimum pay rate is $75,000/year with a maximum of $177,060/year.
