Job Summary
Perform all refinish work according to specs, including mixing paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors using spatulas or power mixing equipment. Match colors following specified charts, apply designs, lettering, or decorative items using brushes or sprayers, and verify paint consistency. Monitor painting operations to identify flaws such as blisters or streaks and correct their causes, while communicating vehicles through the paint process stage. Lay out logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces according to blueprint specifications using measuring instruments, stencils, or patterns. Follow OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application, and curing. Requires I-CAR certifications, prior refinish experience, and ability to receive direction. Posted min pay rate is $75,000.00/Yr.
