Paint Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead the Paint production team to meet safety, quality, and KPI targets in Greenville, MI. Responsible for ensuring employees are trained on safety requirements and procedures, enforcing PPE rules, onboarding new staff, coaching and developing team members, and maintaining effective communication across all levels. Drive adherence to SOPs, production goals, and continuous improvement of control-point processes; manage shift data, reporting, and coordination with maintenance to sustain operational efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (EHS, HR, Quality) to keep the team informed and compliant, while utilizing scheduling and reporting software to monitor performance and discipline actions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of manufacturing leadership, coaching, development and/or training experience
- Knowledge of automotive production and/or quality processes
- Production planning, MSP, reporting
- Familiarity with ADP, Attendance Counts, DMS, Beacon, Microsoft Suite, and Outlook
- Ability to follow instructions, delegate and enforce policies and procedures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a hot environment and stand for extended periods
