Job Summary
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with PBE customers (retail and professional) and providing color matching expertise and paint product selection advice. Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas on the formula retrieval computer, and mix/tint paints according to manufacturer specifications. Utilize color matching tools (ColorNet, Paint Manager, variant decks, spectrophotometers) and maintain the mixing room, equipment, and paint counter. Manage PBE inventory, perform monthly cycle counts, and collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize product availability. Implement a weekly call schedule and report outcomes to management; coordinate with Installer Service Specialist to route Delivery Specialists. Promote company customer service programs and assist with labor claims or warranties. Train and support other store team members in PBE sales and technical questions; maintain relationships with contracted customers and report status as needed. Stay informed about EPA/OSHA regulations and industry news; promote PBE sales tools to customers. Ensure correct pricing for professional customers, greet walk-in customers, process transactions, and handle returns per policy. Assist with merchandising tasks (planogram updates, stock replenishment) and collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to deliver superior service to professional customers.
