Job Summary
Paint Sales Associate provides fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers, assessing their needs for projects, and guiding them to the right paint and related solutions. Responsibilities include greeting, engaging, and thanking customers; promoting services (Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services); discussing options (good, better, best) and suggesting related items; educating customers about the whole project; maintaining product knowledge in the department and adjacent areas; executing daily stock maintenance; and following safety and loss prevention policies. The role supports a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends in a warehouse-like store environment. Minimum education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years of retail or trade experience considered an asset.
