Paint Robotic Programmer

Job Summary
Monitor robots throughout the paint process, resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action, and provide immediate corrective action to robot faults. Conduct software updates and calibrations while programming robot pathways and application controls. Start machines, engage feed, transfer or spray applications, and observe operation to ensure conformance to specifications. Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots, move machine controls, and guide adjustments. Maintain all required records and follow all safety procedures. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, working in areas not ventilated or air-conditioned, and exposure to chemicals and solvents. Valid driver's license and one year of experience in robotic painting preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in robotic painting or related role preferred.
- Certified for all robotic painting operations, methods, and processes preferred.
- Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
- Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
- Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
