Job Summary
Comprehensive preparation of truck bodies, equipment, and accessories for painting, including sanding, minor body work, grinding welds, caulking exterior areas, and taping/masking. Operate all necessary equipment and tools to perform these tasks while preparing and completing required paperwork for the paint department. Maintain precise measurements using hand and power tools, and work in a team environment within a shop with varying temperatures. High school diploma or GED required, valid driver's license with a clean record, and training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be detail-orientated to perfection
- Ability to use paint equipment
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read and use a tape measure to make precise measurements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines
- Ability to retain and apply instructions
- Basic math skills needed: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
