Job Summary
Manage all operations within the state-of-the-art Powder Paint Shop, overseeing up to 60 work associates across multiple shifts to maximize asset performance. Schedule components to meet production requirements while maintaining high integrity in safety, quality, and continuous improvement disciplines. Collaborate with operational leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure painted components meet the production schedule. Develop and maintain cost performance while supporting capital expenditure projects and implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) performance standards. Work in both office and manufacturing environments subject to noise and temperature changes, requiring frequent movement and transport of up to 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of operational leadership in a fast-paced production facility
- 4 years of working as a personnel supervisor
- Must have excellent task-conversion skills
- Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
- Comfortable in an in-person office environment
- Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
- Shall be open to domestic and international travel
- Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Technical competence is valued – Industrial Paint & Processing plants
