Job Summary
The Paint Associate role focuses on preparing surfaces for painting by sandblasting or abrasive blasting to remove contaminants, followed by masking and protecting areas as needed. Responsibilities include inspecting surfaces before and after blasting, operating in a fully enclosed blast booth, loading parts onto hanger carts, assisting teammates in prep or non-skid areas, sanding/blending/polishing to match surrounding areas, applying or retouching paint with a brush, shoveling or loading abrasive material, routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and reporting malfunctions to the supervisor. The position requires adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols, proper use of PPE, and participation in continual improvement programs. Required Qualifications
- Eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
