Job Summary
Responsible for the application and quality of paint to parts along the paint line from start to finish, with responsibilities to support improvements in paint line efficiency, reduce setup times, scrap, and rework. Must monitor chemical concentrations in the Wash System, read formulas, follow written and verbal directions, and program computer-operated painting tools. Prepare for color changes in the Gemma Booth, maintain safety and cleanliness, coordinate with Crew Leader and Team Leader on safety, quality, production, or inventory issues, and maintain proper identification and cycle recounts for work orders. Requires ability to disassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain powder coating equipment; promote teamwork and participate in quality improvement activities; and handle routine work orders, routings, and material sequencing to ensure efficient production. Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years assembly/paint line experience; physical capability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks with dexterity.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to measure and mix paint as required by the work order
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language
- Associates must have the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Strong attention to details
