Paint Line Operator

Job Summary
Paint Line Operator at Xylem loads/unloads parts on paint line conveyor, mixes paints, touches up parts, operates paint burn-off equipment, reads shop orders, handles tagging and part identification, weighs up to 50 lbs, uses computer to clock/transfer shop orders, maintains records and quality standards, maintains clean and safe work area, communicates with production team, participates in safety and Xylem Watermark volunteer activities, and supports training. Prior manufacturing/production experience is encouraged; high school diploma or GED required; forklift experience preferred. The role is performed in a climate-controlled plant environment with potential lifting of moderate weights and daily collaboration with supervisors and peers.
Required Qualifications

- Manufacturing/production environment experience desired but not required
- Forklift operation experience desired but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on conveyor line
- Must be able to read shop orders and clock/transfer shop orders
- Must maintain records with accurate piece count
- Must maintain quality and quantity standards
- Must visually inspect and gauge work for quality
