Job Summary
Lead painters and monitor production initiatives while ensuring designated PPE use during the paint process. Maintain paint booths, storage areas, and power rooms for efficiency, and manage daily powder and supply inventory with ordering based on production needs. Perform color changes, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and execute rebuilds on power guns as required. Discuss paint defects with painters to implement corrective actions and complete all necessary PMs. Start and stop the line if necessary, maintain line safety, and notify supervisors of potential issues. Work with suppliers and vendors to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bending, standing, reaching and lifting required
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
- No Cell phones allowed in powder rooms or paint booths
- Wear designated PPE
- Good understanding of quality control principles
