Job Summary
Hang ground parts on racks and power wash them in a steam booth under the direction of the Paint Lead. Read work orders or receive instructions regarding parts to be painted, then steam clean and place items on racks. Empty baskets, put away parts, chip hooks and racks as needed, and keep the floor free of water. Inspect equipment for areas missed at grinding and assist in the grinding department as assigned. Maintain productivity, follow safety procedures, and meet daily production schedules while keeping the area clean and organized. This role supports the powder coating operation for external applicants with 3 months to 3 years of related experience.
