Job Summary
Prepare custom fabricated metal surfaces and modular components for industrial coatings by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and prepping metal surfaces. Operate abrasive blasting equipment when necessary, mask and protect surfaces prior to painting, and load and stage parts for coating and blasting processes. Maintain, prep areas and equipment, and follow technical instructions, product data sheets, and safety data sheets. This first shift role in Blasdell, NY, offers experienced technicians a pay rate of $20-23/hour based on skill.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing paint preparation
- Experience in abrasive blasting
